David H. Gleason Associates,
Inc. provides architectural services to ten Baltimore neighborhoods through the
Baltimore Main Streets Program. On-site documentation, façade rehabilitation
design, conceptual design for infill construction, and preliminary costs analyses
are some of the services provided. Before After The
façade of Nifty Cleaners was updated as part of the revitalization of Waverly
Main Streets. The design evokes the building's appearance in the 1950's as does
the custom designed painted signs.
As part of the rehabilitation of three contiguous storefronts
in the Federal Hill Main Street neighborhood commercial district, David H. Gleason
Associates, Inc. designed the storefront of 1038 South Charles Street featuring
a recessed entry with hidden security grille and standing seam metal roof.

metal canopy was installed over the sidewalk of the 3200 block of East Monument
Street. As part of the East Monument Street revitalization program, the canopy
was removed and 22 new storefronts designed. Early in the design process, the
David H. Gleason Associates, Inc. produced a computer generated video showing
what the buildings would look like after the canopy had been removed and the building
