The façade of Nifty Cleaners was updated as part of the revitalization of Waverly Main Streets. The design evokes the building's appearance in the 1950's as does the custom designed painted signs.

As part of the rehabilitation of three contiguous storefronts in the Federal Hill Main Street neighborhood commercial district, David H. Gleason Associates, Inc. designed the storefront of 1038 South Charles Street featuring a recessed entry with hidden security grille and standing seam metal roof.

In the 1970's a continuous metal canopy was installed over the sidewalk of the 3200 block of East Monument Street. As part of the East Monument Street revitalization program, the canopy was removed and 22 new storefronts designed. Early in the design process, the David H. Gleason Associates, Inc. produced a computer generated video showing what the buildings would look like after the canopy had been removed and the building facades rehabilitated.
